Our Operations in the time of COVID-19

Crane products are exclusively produced in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts and have been for 219 years. We are inextricably connected to the wellbeing of our community, and its wellbeing will always be our top priority. We have recently resumed operations after a prolonged closure, and we thank you for your continued support and patience as we work to resolve some delays in both Customer Service and order processing times.

Some COVID-19 Related FAQs

Has my order been affected? While our facility is back up and running, we are still working on fulfilling a backlog of orders from our extended closure. We anticipate processing times for some orders of approximately twice their standard length. Please refer to our Current Order Processing Times below for a guide as to our current capabilities. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and patience during this period.

Current Order Processing Timess

If you place your order before 1 PM EST Monday to Friday (excluding holidays), we begin processing on the same day. If you place it after 2 PM ET, we begin processing the next business day. Depending on your purchased products, we process orders after credit card verification within the times below.
  • Engraved personalized stationery orders are processing in 12-14 business days
  • Thermography personalized stationery orders are processing in 17-19 business days
  • Personalized sympathy orders are processing in 5 business days
  • Letterpress and Foil personalized stationery orders are processing in 6-7 business days
  • Boxed stationery orders for in stock items are processing in 2-3 business days
  • Items including additional borders or edge treatments still require the additional processing times referenced below

  • Personalized stationery orders with multiple printing methods and/or ink color processes require 5-10 business days to process.
  • Personalized stationery orders with painted edges require 14 business days to process.
  • Personalized stationery orders with gilt edges require 17-22 business days to process.

  • Can I still place an order? Yes, we encourage you to place orders on Crane.com during this time, knowing that your deliveries may be delayed depending on your selection of printing process.

    When will you charge my credit card? Our payment process is automated, and your credit card will be charged at the time of placing your order. We understand that with significant delays in processing times, things may change and you may wish to make changes to your order. Our Customer Service team will be happy to assist you with any adjustments. Please email us at customerservice@crane.com.

    Expedited Shipping for Personalized Orders

    Please note that personalized orders will have a processing time as outlined above. Once the order is complete it will be shipped by chosen expedited method - overnight or 2-day air. Choosing a faster shipping method cannot expedite the processing time.

    International Orders

    We currently only ship to the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico as well as to Canada.

    Duties and Taxes

    Almost all shipments crossing international borders are subject to the assessment of duties and taxes imposed by the importing country’s government. Duties and taxes, if imposed, are due when your order is delivered.

    Shipping Times

    Please refer to the map below for UPS transit times. Ground shipping within the US takes between 2 and 6 days. Note that some orders cannot be shipped via UPS and will be sent out via USPS. Our stationery products ship from Massachusetts

    Reshipment of Orders

    Before submitting your order, please confirm the shipping address you have entered is correct. This will save time with our carriers and keep you from attaining unnecessary reshipment costs.
