SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

1. All entries need to be submitted in digital format (PDF only), via email to studioart@crane.com. Please keep PDF under 10MB. Original art and non-PDF digital files will not be considered.

2. If submitting samples for multiple product categories, please send a separate PDF for each category. PDF page size should be 8 1/2” x 11”, with one concept per page (no more than 3 concepts/pages per product category).

Product categories:

• Boxed Stationery
• Personal Correspondence
• Thank You Notes
• Holiday Cards (design to include card design and inside greeting)
• Custom Printed Stationery
• Wedding Invitations (design to include invitation and response card)
• Holiday Cards (design to include card design and inside greeting)
• Social Invitations
• Personal Correspondence

3. Each design needs to be labeled with the following information:

• Designer’s name and contact information
• Product Category
• Format (folder, flat card, or other)
• Suggested production process (optional)
• Brief artist’s statement – no more than 2 sentences (optional)

Deadline for submittals:   August 1, 2009

Crane will contact designers whose work is of interest before September 1st, 2009 to discuss detailed design requirements, payment terms, etc. Due to the anticipated response to this announcement, only artists/designers whose work is of interest will be personally contacted. All others will be emailed when chosen entries are complete.

 

All artwork submitted remains the property of the artist, and will not be used without signed partnership agreement between artist and Crane & Co., Inc.
