This sales position within the Stationery Division is responsible for servicing current and prospective independent clients across the Midwest to include Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky. Primary accountabilities include driving volume growth within the existing client base as well as developing appropriate new sales channels. Particular attention will be focused on the strategic expansion of current distribution and the development of new business from key accounts.
- Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in B:B sales, preferably in stationery, gift or luxury products
- Proven ability to accomplish sales goals according to plan
- Proven ability to develop new customer base
- Effective communication and rapport with customers
- Driver’s license and reliable personal transportation
- Significant travel required
- Computer skills, including Word, Excel, Internet
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
This is a full time position. Total compensation includes a base salary and commission based on attainment of sales goals as well as a generous benefit package.
